We’re doing something different next month from our usual Grub Crawl three-restaurant tours. On March 3rd, we’re teaming up with Mission Mini for a cupcake baking class.

One of our expanding ideas is to have you, the crawlers, get more involved in our Grub Crawls. Our hope is that if you have an idea for a Grub Crawl, you can set it up.

It’s not some overly complicated thing. We can coach you on how to get in touch with restaurants and how to set up the entire evening.

You can have all your friends over for a big birthday party or even set one up to meet new people. You can be the host of your own Grub Crawl evening.

All of us at Grub Crawl love tasting new foods and getting a chance to explore the great restaurants around the Bay Area. One of the things that we’ve done lately is use our cameras to snap pictures of our meals.

Every now and then when we’re out and about, we snap a picture and post them on our Foodspotting profie. Foodspotting is a great site (which can also be used to sync on your phone as well as Twitter) to tell people where you’ve been and what you’ve eaten.

On our Twitter page, we’ve been Foodspotting a lot and you can see our collection of pictures and where we like to eat. So if you see anything that we’ve spotted that you like, you already know where to find it.

And Foodspotting has grown. They just surpassed 1 million app downloads in 18 months. Congratulations to them on that and we do hope they continue to expand.

Hey folks. If you haven’t heard, we’re bringing back our famous “Grubbing Like a Giant” back this week. But for the first time, we’re having it on a Saturday.

Due to popular demand from people who couldn’t make it out to our previous crawls held during the week, we were able to set one up for this coming Saturday.
